Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott left Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury. He was replaced by backup quarterback Cooper Rush.
Prescott was taken out with the Cowboys trailing 27-13. He had completed 18 of 24 passes for 133 yards and one touchdown before his day ended.
Dallas entered Sunday’s matchup with the Falcons with a 3-4 record. The Cowboys were 3-2 before a two-game losing streak headed into Week 9.
Prescott has struggled this season, throwing for 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions through Sunday’s game.
His 84.5 passer rating through seven games is the worst mark of his career, as is his quarterback rating of 47.5. Prescott’s completion percentage and yards per attempt average entering Week 9 were the second-lowest marks of his career.
