CDC panel votes to recommend delaying hepatitis B vaccine for babies
A CDC panel of vaccine advisors voted to end a longstanding recommendation that all newborns get the hepatitis B vaccine at birth. Dr. Susan Kressly, the president of the American Academy of Pediatrics says because of the move, “children in America are less safe.” NBC News’ Anne Thompson reports.
