They filmed the moment they were forced to leave, running down a street with multiple burning homes.

The Palisades fire, one of several burning in Los Angeles, exploded in size late Tuesday as powerful winds hit northwest Los Angeles. It has already at least 1,000 buildings and forced more than 30,000 residents to evacuate.

President Joe Biden approved a major disaster declaration for California on Wednesday, which will allow residents to have immediate access to funds and resources for their recovery.
