Content creator and golf brand Good Good has apologised and removed an advertisement for a new golf driver which showed a woman being pushed to the ground after reaching for the club.
American company Good Good, which has 2.13m subscribers to its golf channel on YouTube and sponsors a PGA Tour tournament, had created and published the advert for golf club manufacturer Callaway.
The advert drew a backlash and was accused of making light of violence against women.
"We posted a video to our channels that ultimately depicted actions that are not aligned with our values as a brand," read the Good Good apology on X, external.
