Lauren Sánchez shares first peek of wedding to Jeff Bezos in Venice: What we know

Oprah Winfrey, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Tom Brady, Bill Gates and Leonardo DiCaprio are among the many already gathered in Venice for the lavish celebrations.

VENICE, Italy — The superyachts are moored up, the private jets have touched down and the celebrities, athletes and business leaders are in Venice for one of the most talked-about weddings of the year — that of billionaire Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez.

Oprah Winfrey, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Tom Brady, Bill Gates and President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner are in the “city of love,” along with Queen Rania of Jordan and Leonardo DiCaprio, for the three days of lavish celebrations that began Thursday with a star-studded gala.

Nearby, a boat full of paparazzi eagerly snapped pictures of the pair before they entered the secluded venue.

After Friday's wedding ceremony, Sánchez, now Lauren Sánchez Bezos, made her Instagram debut in a post in her full-length lace Dolce & Gabbana gown with a series of photos that showed her getting ready and affixing her veil.

The dress had a mermaid-style skirt and was complete with a lace turtleneck and sleeves. Bridal buttons lined the front and back of the gown.
