Late Saturday night, the trade the baseball world was anticipating (or dreading) finally came to fruition as the Detroit Tigers traded two-time American League Cy Young Award winner Tarik Skubal to the Los Angeles Dodgers for three prospects. Hysteria and hand-wringing ensued as the two-time defending World Series champions, already with the largest payroll in the sport, added another elite arm to their loaded rotation.
