Michigan woman killed in murder-suicide with 6 kids detailed marriage strife on social media

Years before Amanda Karolkiewicz and her six children were fatally shot by her husband in a murder-suicide, she posted on Reddit alleging infidelity and alienation from family.

Earlier this month, Amanda Karolkiewicz spent a week in China with her two adopted daughters, teaching them about their birth country and culture. Karolkiewicz, a substitute teacher and children’s book author from Michigan, documented the trip on TikTok, sharing videos and photos of the girls enjoying a day at Shanghai Disneyland and exploring Hangzhou.
