The Pacific Northwest and California are facing huge wildfire threats

Ninety-five large, uncontained fires are encroaching on iconic destinations like Mt. Rainier National Park in Washington and Mt. Hood National Forest in Oregon.

The numbers are staggering: Wildfires this year have consumed more than 6.4 million acres of land across the country as of Thursday, with 103 new fires reported on Wednesday alone.
