Boy falls down 50-foot waterfall after getting off Disneyland ride early

Park officials said the 13-year-old was released from a hospital after being evaluated as a precaution.

A 13-year-old boy was not seriously hurt after he got off a moving Disneyland ride and tumbled down its 50-foot waterfall, according to park officials and cellphone video.

The incident took place Sunday at the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ride at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, about 40 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles.

Cellphone video first obtained by TMZ and verified by NBC News shows the boy twist and shoot down the waterfall just behind a ride vehicle filled with parkgoers.
