The move drew an objection hours later from Sen. Jerry Moran, R-Kan., whose state hosts Bombardier’s U.S. headquarters.

It’s the latest example of pushback from Republican senators against Trump’s Canada trade policy, which has sparked back-and-forth tariffs months from the midterm elections.

“NO MORE SELLING BOMBARDIER IN THE UNITED STATES!” Trump wrote in a post Monday on Truth Social. “Their products aren’t good enough!”

Trump further charged that the company depends on “American Buyers, American Companies, American Airports, and American Service — All while Canada blocks our GREAT American Banks, and Companies, throughout the U.S.A.”
