A possible anti-ICE activist who may have emotional issues wheeled a cart with fireworks and flammable liquid to 26 Federal Plaza on Foley Square and ignited a fire, sending smoke billowing into the air, three law enforcement sources say of the preliminary investigation.

According to the law enforcement sources, the man also had what appeared to be a few airsoft rifles, which are pellet- or BB-type rifles, in the cart. He was taken into custody.

Sources say the NYPD Bomb Squad is checking out his cart as a precaution.
