Vladimir Putin responds to US ceasefire proposal over Ukraine

The Russian president said he was in favour 30-day ceasefire but added there were 'nuances'.

Speaking at a news conference on Wednesday in Moscow, the Russian president thanked US President Donald Trump for his intervention in the conflict.

He said while we was open to the US proposal, he raised a series of questions that he said needed discussing with Washington.
