Mount Everest: Rescuers race to reach stranded hikers
Chinese state media reports say around 350 people have been rescued and efforts are under way to reach more than 200 others.

About 350 hikers have been led to safety, and rescuers have been in contact with another 200 people, Chinese state media reported.
Heavy snowfall that began on Friday evening intensified on the eastern slopes of Mount Everest. The sudden bad weather has also hit Nepal, where torrential rain and flooding killed at least 47 people since Friday.
