Tom Cotton says he has ‘100 percent’ confidence in Hegseth after ‘Signalgate’ report
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, says he has “100 percent” confidence in Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, despite the Pentagon watchdog report that found Hegseth shared secret information about U.S. attack plans in a Signal group chat that “created a risk to operational security that could have resulted in failed U.S. mission objectives and potential harm to U.S. pilots.”
