Lindsey Graham’s death in July prompted a special primary to replace him on the ballot this fall. Appointed Sen. Darline Graham, his sister, has President Donald Trump’s endorsement for a full term, but a number of prominent South Carolina Republicans are running anyway, including Reps. Ralph Norman and Russell Fry and former Gov. Mark Sanford. If no one gets majority support, the primary will go to a one-on-one runoff. The nominee will face Democrat Annie Andrews in November.
