Teen’s death puts renewed spotlight on energy drink concerns for youth
A lawsuit filed last week alleges that Larissa Rodriguez died from excessive caffeine consumption. Other grieving parents say the death was preventable.
It wasn’t guns, or drugs, or a speeding car that stole Wendy Kline’s daughter from her in 2011. Kline says it was the energy drinks that her 14-year-old, Anais Fournier, drank in the hours before she went into cardiac arrest.
