Freedom 250, a public-private partnership backed by President Donald Trump, announced a list of performers Wednesday, but shortly after, Morris Day and the Time, Young MC, Martina McBride, The Commodores, and Bret Michaels announced that they would not be making appearances.
“Contrary To Rumor, Morris Day & The Time Will Not Be Performing At The ‘GREAT AMERICAN STATE FAIR,’” a graphic the artist posted on social media said.
