Iran mourns supreme leader for a second day as millions flood streets, some calling for revenge

Even larger crowds are expected Monday, when Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s casket will be taken on a procession through the streets of Tehran.

TEHRAN, Iran — Mournful wailing, religious songs and chants calling for revenge against the U.S. and Israel rang out Sunday as huge crowds gathered in Tehran for a second day of public mourning for the country’s late supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
