Doctor in past failed Tennessee execution participates in Anthony ‘Darrell’ Hines’ lethal injection

Tennessee carried out its first execution of the year Thursday using the same doctor accused of botching an earlier attempted lethal injection, which witnesses said left a death row prisoner in excruciating pain and spurred calls to investigate what went wrong.
