Hakeem Jeffries says ‘I hope’ shutdown ends before Thanksgiving: Full interview

In an exclusive interview with Meet the Press, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) says Republicans are “not acting in good faith” after they dismissed Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s (D-N.Y.) proposal to end the government shutdown by passing a one-year extension of the Affordable Care Act tax credits.
