Erik and Lyle Menendez were convicted of murdering their parents in 1989 at their home in Beverly Hills, and later sentenced to life in prison without parole.

LA County district attorney George Gascón announced that new evidence uncovered warranted a review of their life sentences, raising the possibility that the brothers could walk free from jail.
