The youngest son of Rob Reiner and Michele Singer was charged with two counts of murder on Tuesday, two days after his parents were found dead with apparent stab wounds. He is being held in jail without bail and is due to be arraigned in court later on Wednesday.
The footage, obtained by NBC Los Angeles, shows Nick Reiner, 32, being confronted by four police vehicles at around 9:15 p.m. Sunday as he walked across a street near the intersection of Exposition Boulevard and Vermont Avenue, about 15 miles from his parents' home. He can be seen putting his hands above his head, dressed in a black and green sweater, a hat and wearing a red backpack.
The footage shows him moments earlier wandering around a gas station convenience store, before getting in line with a bottled drink in hand.
