The youngest members of the second family, Cole, 29, and Ella, 25, are the children of second gentleman Doug Emhoff, who was previously married to film producer Kerstin Emhoff.
On Tuesday night, Cole Emhoff introduced his father for night two of the Democratic National Convention, presenting a heartfelt video documenting the second gentleman's life in photos.
"We might not look like other families in the White House, but we are ready to represent all families in America," he said in his voiceover of the video.
Since the pandemic and President Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential run, Ella Emhoff has become a social media phenomenon.
