In an Instagram story on Thursday, the band said that "due to unforeseen circumstances" they were unable to perform at the iHeartRadio ALTer Ego festival on 13 January.

It comes a week after the trio took down all posts and images from their social media accounts in December.

All content from their official website has also been removed.

Frontwoman Hayley Williams, guitarist Taylor York and drummer Zac Farro were due to play alongside other artists including The 1975, The Black Keys, Thirty Seconds To Mars and Yellowcard.
