More than 80 million people at risk for strong storms or excessive heat
It’s been a weekend of dangerous and severe weather across the country. A strong storm hit northern Alabama yesterday with ferocious winds that had people running for cover. In South Carolina, two people drowned as rip currents closed beaches up and down the east coast. Today, more than 80 million people are at risk for either rain, wind, flooding or excessive heat. NBC News’ Guad Venegas reports.
