Rediscovering New Orleans' rich musical history before jazz
It's a little-known part of New Orleans' musical history. Before jazz came to dominate the landscape, it was known as a city of opera. Now, a project called Opera Creole is working to restore the city's classical music heritage and give the long lost works of composers of color their American debuts.
