Memo: U.S. in ‘armed conflict’ with drug cartels
NBC News has obtained a notification to Congress from the Trump administration that says the U.S. is now in ‘armed conflict’ with drug cartels. It comes after the U.S. military targeted boats off the coast of Venezuela it said were carrying drugs. NBC News’ Courtney Kube reports.
