In an exclusive interview with Meet the Press, New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani says he’s open to an “alternative” to increasing taxes on the wealthy or on businesses to fund his proposals, after speaking with New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) — who has been skeptical of raising taxes.
