Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss disclosed on Sunday he's facing a facing a serious, ongoing health issue and asked fans to pray for he and his family.
The ESPN football analyst didn't disclose details of the illness he might be battling but pointedly told "all you men" to "get your blood work done and we'll work through it."
"I'm battling something man and it's something internal, your boy is going to get through it," Moss said in one of two Instagram posts he made from the set of "Sunday NFL Countdown." "I got a great team of doctors and got a great family around me."
The 47-year-old Moss played 14 seasons, for the Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans and San Francisco 49ers. He was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018.
"I just ask for all the prayer warriors ... to put their blessing hands on me and my family through these hard times," Moss added.
