Video shared on social media showed a huge explosion at the city's port, while footage recorded by Houthi-controlled Al Masirah TV captured fires blazing at the Al-Hali power station.

The Israeli Air Force targeted power plants and a seaport "which were used by the Houthis to transfer Iranian weapons to the region", the Israeli Defense Forces said in a statement posted on X.
