2018 Audi TT-RS ABT RS-R IROZ 710hpABT is a German company that has existed for decades- first as a parts supplier- and more famously, as a race team and tuner, focusing on cars from the Volkswagen and Audi family. In 2018, they set their sites on the Audi TT RS- a car that flew under the radar for most of its life, but was one of the greatest performance bargains available, and took to performance enhancements quite well. Known as the TT RS-R, ABT produced just 50 for the world, which featured a power bump from 400 hp to 500, as well as numerous body and suspension modifications. That turned the TT RS from a very quick car to a truly fast car- but this TT RS-R has been turned up a few more notches.For most enthusiasts, 500 horsepower in a small car with a body kit that makes it 1 of 50 in the world would be exciting enough, but the owner of this car couldn't stop there. Contacting Audi tuning specialists Iroz Motorsports in Las Vegas, Nevada, this TT RS-R received a complete Stage 3 motor build- which turned 500 horsepower at the crankshaft, to a shocking 710 horsepower at all four wheels. This engine alone cost in excess of $28,000, as Iroz Motorsport changed almost every internal piece of the motor- pistons, connecting rods, ARP head studs, new valves, ported head, cylinder sleeves, blueprinted bearings, new injectors, increased cooling and a host of other upgrades were installed to ensure it could hold up to nearly doubling the factory power rating reliably. This engine sends power through a 7-speed S-Tronic gearbox to all 4 wheels and, although there are no official performance figures, 0-60 mph in the sub-3 second range is not out of the question. To keep up with this power, the suspension has been upgraded as well with MCS Double adjustable remote dampers, 034 Motorsports rear trailing arms and 034 Front and rear subframe kits.The car's exterior is finished in Nardo Gray, and thanks to the unique ABT body kit, it looks like no other TT RS on the road. This body kit consists of a carbon fiber front spoiler and dive planes, an updated grille with TT RS-R badge, unique side and rear skirts, and a large rear wing. The original wheels are included but have been replaced by a set of 19 BBS RX-R wheels in machined/black finish and are wrapped in ultra-sticky Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires. Sitting behind these wheels is a set of Gyrodisc brake rotors with Cobalt ceramic brake pads.The black leather interior is largely standard, which is no bad thing considering how nice this era of Audi interiors are. Black leather covers the seats and doors, with white deviated stitching throughout. A flat-bottomed Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel sits in front of Audi's wonderful dynamic cockpit full LCD gauge cluster, which offers numerous methods of customization to fit your preference. The brushed aluminum kick plates have TT RS-R badging as do the floor mats, and a Passport Max Ci radar detector and laser jammer have been professionally installed at a cost of nearly $5,700.When the TT RS was new and totally stock, it was referred to by many magazines as the baby R8 because of its exceptional performance and sure-footed all-wheel drive handling. With the massive amount of upgrades on this car, any R8 short of a twin-turbo runway racer will be seeing your taillights as soon as you hit the throttle in this TT RS-R. It is estimated that more than $75,000 in upgrades were carried out on this car, meaning the original owner has in excess of $150,000 invested into this one of a kind Audi.
