Hannah Kobayashi family offers refunds to those donating to search efforts now that she's found

The sister of Hannah Kobayashi, the Hawaii woman who was at the center of a Southern California missing persons investigation, posted an update to the family's GoFundMe page on Thursday offering refunds to people who donated.

Hannah Kobayashi's family announced Wednesday that the 30-year-old woman had been found safe, but did not clarify when or where she was found.

"We are incredibly relieved and grateful that Hannah has been found safe. This past month has been an unimaginable ordeal for our family," Sydni Kobayashi wrote on the GoFundMe page. "We want to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us during this difficult time. Your kindness and concern have meant the world to us."

The update also stated that donations had been turned off, and that those who want a refund can submit a claim by Dec. 18 and "it will be honored."
