Corn Deficiencies

This is the most common deficiency in corn production. Symptoms include chlorosis (yellowing) of lower leaves, stunted root growth, and reduced photosynthetic activity. Often occurs in cold, wet soils with high pH levels. A classic sign is a whitish stripe in the leaf color, resembling magnesium deficiency.
