‘General Hospital’ supports star Tabyana Ali after she received 'hate' online

“General Hospital” is rallying to the side of actor Tabyana Ali after she said she received online hate.

“General Hospital” is rallying to the side of one of its stars.

The ABC soap opera posted a message of support Tuesday on its Instagram page and X page for star Tabyana Ali after she was the target of racist comments online.

“General Hospital does not tolerate hatred or bigotry of any kind. Racism has no place in Port Charles. #GH is for everyone,” the message read, although Ali’s name was not mentioned. The post prompted Ali to repost it on X, along with her writing, “I appreciate you so much ABC/GH.”

The post came after Ali posted several messages on X earlier this month, alluding to hateful comments she had received.

“To anyone that hates me. That’s absolutely fine,” she tweeted. “I don’t know you and you don’t me but regardless I’m sending you peace, safety, and prosperity... I also pray you touch some grass, see the sun, eat a delicious meal, and find something to do. Peace and love.”
