A project in Mozambique is trying to reverse the alarming rate of deforestation there.

Trees are cleared to make way for farmland. There is evidence of unsustainable commercial logging of protected species.

But one project is working with villages alongside Chimanimani National Park in central Mozambique to try to restore the forests to their natural diversity.
